antiperspirants for facial sweating?

I have decided to use antipersperants after I consider about all the methods in order to prevent sweating problem. My problem is facial sweating. In fact my whole body is sweating but not as much as my face. So what do you advise me to do? Do you think it's useful to use antiperspirans on my face? Is it harmful or not? I need your experiences. If anybody have ever used them in the face, please write.

I wouldnt recommend spraying yourself in the face with deodorant! My advice would be to go and see your GP :)

I used prescribed strong anti perspirant on my face. Especially in the summer, I used to roll some on my forehead lots and get some on my fingers and rub it in all on my forehead and sides of my head before bed, then wash it off in the mornings. It worked wonders, I stopped doing that months ago and strangely my forehead never seems to sweat anymore.

Does anyone here have greasy ski?. I wonder it my greasy skin is mostly just sweating.

Maxim is an antipersperant for example

I have an awfully dry skin also becouse of my antidepressants or maybe it's seasonal but my skin is usually disposed to sweating.

Ive used face saver with very good results. Check my thread on it. Odaban im yet to try and sweatstop got many products (my reults with seatstop is50/50 at the moment)

Can you tell me the name of the anitperspirant?

The anti perspirant is called Anhydrol Forte. I got it prescribed for my doctor for my arm pits but one day just thought about using it on my face and it worked. You apply it at night before sleep and wash in the mornings.

For facial sweating, I would recommend a deodorant soap rather than a direct antipirspirant. Sounds a little too harsh on the skin.
