Anxious writing in front of people

When I've younger I was terrified of writing and especially signing documents in front of people my hand would uncontrollable shake. The first time I experienced it, is when I applied for my divers licence, they had some sort of special pad that I had to sign so they could copy the signature onto my driver’s licence, when I tried to sign it my had was shaking like crazy, and I wasn't allowed to steady it by resting it on the pad because it made the signature unusable, it took me about five goes to get a usable signature down, the embarrassment was unbelievable. Fortunately I’ve overcome this phobia to a large degree, my shaking has become a lot more controllable.

Yeah, i would get anxious and muck up my signature, it would look all messy and they would question it and make me do it again. The uncontrollable hand shakes were at their worst eating in front of others. Extreme embarrassment.
