Any anime lovers? Looking for suggestions

So recently I've watching some anime I have never seen before, just ones I have heard of. I never really watched much anime as a kid aside from a few episodes of Dragonball Z, so I'm hoping that some people on here can give me some suggestions based on the ones I've fallen in love with.

Black Lagoon (the first anime I've had a serious interest in)
Gunslinger Girl
Death Note (may be my favorite, it definitely floored me with its writing, voice acting, and overall execution)
Sword Art Online (as a bonus for me, it has the voice actor of Gaige from Borderlands 2 as Asuna)
Code Geass (good but it lost me, I think the website I watched it on skipped a few episodes, it seemed to jump forward in the plot quite drastically)
Attack on Titan (may tie with Death Note as my favorite, I just cant get that theme song out of my head)

So any suggestions based on these? Currently going to start Tokyo Ghoul and then either Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan, HunterxHunter, or Neon Genesis Evangelion.

From those I'm watching TTGL and I'm liking it a lot. Neon Genesis Evangelion is also pretty good. Other than that, I can suggest Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist (there are two different versions, both good in my opinion), Darker than Black, Guilty Crown, Ghost in the Shell. I think these are more or less in line with what you have watched and are also very popular. Of course, if you're interested in other genres I can always try to suggest something else.

Where do you watch anime (websites)?

Trigun and Psycho Pass(my favorite anime) may be up your alley. Also try Akame ga Kill and Seraph of the End a new anime airing that is made by the producers of Attack on Titan, it is similar to AoT but about vampires. If you like horror romance then Future Diary and Another is good.

I either use animeflavor or dubbed-scene
I know some people prefer subbed to dubbed, but I have difficulty with being able to move my eye fast enough to read everything and keep up

Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone, I'm making a list of potential series to check out and some of the ones mentioned are ones Ive considered (like Evangelion, always though Asuka was really cute)

I think reading subtitles is just a matter of getting used to it. I'm used to it because even as a kid a lot of the shows I watched were subtitled (some kids shows were dubbed in spanish with subtitles). Anyway, since English is your native language (I assume), you should have an advantage over me. I watch anime with English subs by the way.

Anyway, those websites are decent for very recent shows but for older stuff the quality is really poor, both in image and sound.

Higurashi no naku koro ni.
Kurokami.
Inuyasha.
Darker than black.
Elfen Lied.

Yeah Higurashi was good.

I just downloaded all of Inuyasha which I want to get to in a bit. Though still watching Ranma.

I'd recommend Steins;Gate or Samurai Champloo. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. If I want to list off some things that I feel most would enjoy. Yu Yu Hakusho.

Psycho Pass was great. Also thanks for reminding me. Attack on Titan and Future Diary/Another were good too. I need to download Trigun later.

I'm currently watching Inuyasha and its very good anime but you probably know it. If you don't try it, it's a good one. Currently on episode 46 :perfect:

I haven't been watching Animes for a long time, but the first one (except Sailor Moon when i was.. 11 ^^) i saw was "When they cry" (or in japanese Higurashi no naku koro ni) and it was addictive! I loved it! It's just a shame, that the second season has no english translation, just english subtitles. But that's worth it ^^

Have you watched Elfen-lied? By far my favourite anime, it's up there with Death Note. The dubbed version is really well done too. I like dubs too because I can't keep up with the reading and watching at the same time.

about: Elfen-lied is mainly sci-fi/thriller but it literally covers every genre so I can't see how anyone could not like it... horror, romance, comedy, suspense, drama, action, fantasy. It doesn't have too many episodes so the story moves quickly and gets you hooked, worth watching. It's about a mutated race of "humans" called diclonyus who grow up with an instinct to kill all humans and breed with some to create more of their own species. It follows the story of Lucy, a diclonyus who escapes from a high security lab and ends up living with two students who take her in when she develops a multiple personality that is innocent and non-violent. The hunt for Lucy begins, with another diclonyus sent after her who has strangely never tried to hurt a human and is very obedient, yet is kept in the lab enduring tormenting experiments. The story unfolds quickly and has many interesting characters who have had painful pasts.

I know some other posts mentioned the future diary (also called mirai nikki) and I second that. The dubbed version is also well done and it's a short, fast-paced anime. Lots of action, lots of blood.
about: a bunch of different people are in a game of time, where they each receive different bits of info about the near future. The objective of the game is to kill off the remaining players before they kill you, using your info about the future to avoid your death. The story follows a very psycho teenage girl ready to kill anyone in her way and a boy she is obsessed with, both in the game but working together to kill other future diary holders and avoid their pending deaths.
