Anyone have collections?

Personally I collect two things and am very passionate about them. I love to collect comic books, mainly super hero ones but other ones as well. I also love to collect video games. Tonight I sorted out all of my video games and it completely filled my shelf and I didn't even put all my video games on the shelf. I already have a PS2, PS3, and PS4 along with a laptop and an old xbox 360 that isn't in good condition. I'd like to collect more older systems and I'm hoping to get a Playstation one this Christmas. I also do still play the older systems too. I really enjoy the PS2 the most though, when couch co-op was at it's best. I'd also like to try and get my hands on Nintendo systems or an older Xbox if I can.

I've collected baseball cards for years but a little of what I have was passed onto me. The last time I counted them it was in the range of 2,000-2,500. A lot from the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's.

That's awesome :) I'm currently trying to collect older consoles and games. I find that the games that the games and comics I own make me feel proud cause it's what I put all my hard work towards. I don't play every game every day but I love looking at my full shelf of games or comic books and telling reminding myself how hard I worked for them. Also I like have a wide selection so I can play any genre or read any genre I love :). I also like to show people my collection and tell them about it

I went to gamestop last week and theyre actually selling old sega genesis and SNES consoles on the shelves, I think the games come pre-loaded onto the console when you buy it too.
On another side note is the things we've collected over time that we haven't meant to collect on purpose...for me I'd say its cuts and bruises because I work in a restaurant

I want those older systems but I want the real thing I have a few stores close by that sell older games and consoles cheap haha

It's a little mundane, but I actually collect movies and shows. I love tracking down release dates, special editions and extended cuts. As common as it may be, it always feels like a neat little entertainment archive when I walk past it.

Also, Dannyboy, funny sidenote; Since you've had that avatar, from then up till a few minutes ago, I legitimately thought your avatar was Norbert from Angry Beavers against a dark backdrop. Now that I see that it's not feels like I've seen through the Matrix. I'm so blind, l.m.a.o.

Haha it's actually Deathstroke from the DC universe he's one of my favorites. I have a big movie collection too but I am not as passionate about it as I am comics or video games. I really like blue ray movies. My most prized movies is The Lord Of The Rings extended editions on blue ray with all special features for every film.

Yeah, I could've know that if I had taken even a second in the years its been up to look at it. For some reason my attention just inherently drifted from it. It's not even the first time we've had a conversation if I recall correctly, haha.

I've been trying to get an Alien(s) movie collection, but they're a bit too expensive right now. I'd get them separate, but then then you don't get the uniform art and box that makes everything so neat on the shelf.

I have the first Alien movie, it's a pretty interesting movie. My favorites are Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings though. I also highly love super hero movies.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with super hero movies. I love 'em to death, but spoiler dodging is such high maintenance if you want to go in a fresh as possible (I don't even watch trailers for the MCU anymore.)

I now pretty much drop out of any video or article that as much as mentions Civil War, Dr Strange and Guardians' 2 info.

As someone that is familiar with the source material, did you like the Hobbit movies in comparison? I rather love the Lord of the Rings, be felt The Hobbit was so-so.

I used to be big into collecting the trading cards for marvel comics. Like Marvel Masterpieces and different xmen cards. I liked the art and all the stats written on the back. I still have a huge binder of them, but they stopped making them for a while in exchange for card games. Im not sure if they went back to just art cards or not.

You can maybe still find them in some comic shops or online haha. I love Marvel it's my favorite comic book company.

I collect old letters and notes from the past written by relatives, classmates and so on. I keep all my memories in a box so I can take a look at them whenever I want, haha.

I collect only the music CDs and some DVDs which are connected with my favourite music bands :) That's the only thing which can qualify me as a collector's person :giggle:
