Here's a test. If you score more than 14 you are very likely to be an HSP.
There are at least 19 that are "very true" for me. Considering all the ones that are true, I guess I am around 23 or so. I know I am an HSP.

I am very curious to find out how many of you could be classified as HSPs. I feel there might be a correlation between having high sensitivity and the likelihood of psychological disorders.

24, i checked all but three:

1. "When people are uncomfortable in a physical environment I tend to know what needs to be done to make it more comfortable (like changing the lighting or the seating)."

i didn't check it because usually i am still freezing when everyone else is burning up. i will crank the heat but others find it uncomfortable.


2. "I tend to be very sensitive to pain."

i can handle pain if i'm ready for it, like if i know i'm getting pierced or something.


3. "I am conscientious."

actually i probably should have checked that. i'm very conscientious but i can be rude and put my needs before others, especially when i feel so anxiety and panicked.

Looks like is equally distributed so far, kind of. But I just realized that it's difficult to know which ones to check... Because some might be true only in certain cases, so it's difficult to count the partially true ones. Also, some might be emotionally sensitive but not physically sensitive, or vice versa. I think I am more emotionally sensitive than physically sensitive, but I checked most of them anyway.

I could only check three. "I seem to be aware of subtleties in my environment.", "I have a rich,complex inner life.", and "Being very hungry creates a strong reaction in me,disrupting my concentration or mood.".

I've always been a very highly sensitive person.

I did it, got aroudn 19. It's true when they especially when they say different art forms arouse me.

I scored an epic 26, the only question I answered 'no' to was about violent video games and movies. :)
