Anyone think there can be a connection?
I started taking Avert a week ago and the next day a cold sore popped up,I haven't had one for years.
Stopped taking it for 4 days...no coldsore then took one last night and another cold sore popped up again today! Very painful and annoying.
Just wondering that Avert makes you sensitive to light and could that cause the coldsores?
Any thoughts please. If it's a possible connection I will defo stop taking it...they worked really well for my sweating but would hate constant sores!!

After doing a search nothing came up on cold sores. If you stopped for a few days then tried again and they are back, good chance you are reacting to it? Try to stay off for an entire week and then see what happens. It may be a temporary reaction to the Glycopyrrolate?

Do as you will, but what causes cold sores is the herpes simplex virus--just sits on your nerve ends waiting for your immunity to lower.

So you think it's nothing to do with the Avert? I have had cold sores in the past but not for years and I don't feel I'm low or stressed at the moment to possible aggravate it.What do you think? X

Truly sounds like Avert does something in your body to set them off. Maybe try Avert again in a couple of months.

Thinking about it, my daughter developed a nasty scab on her chin when using the Avert and it wouldn't go.In the end it was getting bigger and I had to get medication from her doctors. The glyco we have says Bromide on the bottle, whether that makes a difference!
