okay these may seem like really silly questions, but here goes....

You buy this bike and assemble it yes? Why don't you buy an already assembled one? Is it cheaper to build it yourself? Or is it just for the fun of making it?

I quite like fiddling with bikes too. I totally stripped my old mountain bike down, sand blasted it, re-sprayed it, new tyres, gear levers etc. I just did it to make sure if I bought a new bike I would use it. Got a new one and fiddle with that when needed. I also get roped in to fixing other peoples bikes as well.

Those bikes look in good nick.

i just recently fixed up my very old 2005 diamondback hardtail or something like that i was going to sell it for 50 quid out the gate but realised it goes for about 140 second hand on ebay

so i removed all the vinyls, changed the seat, fixed rear break and put some new pedals on it and ripped off all the reflectors. ill post some pics sometime.

nice bikes mrb! Here's some of mine:

My daily ride - 1976 Schwinn Varsity fixie:

Peugeot La Tourraine fixie in progress - still playing with it to find the right gear ratio - may settle on a single speed freewheel 'cuz there are way too many big hills to pedal down:

Centurion Ironman road racer with Shimano 105 group and clipless pedals - for when I wanna go real fast:

Do you guys go biking on your own or with friends? :p

I mostly go alone but once a week with my brother. He slows me down though.

Nice bikes everyone.

I've got a three speed Specialized hybrid with a hub gearing system. I'm glad I didn't buy a mountain bike for the type of riding I do. It's mostly tarmac cycle paths and a bit of gravel. When I tried my brothers mountain bike it felt like the tyres were velcro'd to the path. He's got road tyres now.
