i went to my doctor for drugs like and i got blood pressure medicine!! (propranolol) that didn't even do anything for me... so anyway, i thought you had to have a prescription for those? i have no clue how to get meds over the internet but my room mate used to take her grandmother's xanax for anxiety over exams in school and she said they worked great. eventually that's what i want to try. so that's one testimony that it works but i have never tried either unfortunately

Yes you can become addicted to valium and xanax if you take them for more than two weeks. I wouldn't go down that road if I were you.

As to if they work, yes, if you want the drug to control your mind. They are just a bandaid 'cure'.

When I started to come off xanax, well I can tell you it was a hard road, felt like a junkie. Benzos actually cause more problems for anxiety and depression, because you become so dependant on them, that you will take them for just every little thing that worries you.

Not a good idea to buy online. You should speak to your doctor so as he or she can tell you about the medication and how to take it...again I as I said before I wouldn't go that way.

I have been through it and never want to be on Xanax or any other benzo again...it screwed me.

Buying online is a very expensive. I have brought Xanax (and valium) from around the world. They put a massive mark up on online meds.
Go to your doctor and get a script from them. As the other posts have written it is true that these types of meds are addictive and are a nightmare to come off. Allot of people also build up a tolerance and find that they don't work like they did in the beginning. Before you know it you are taking ever increasing amounts and realize that you have to bail out because it is only going to get worse.
I got addicted to valium and took it every day for about six and a half years. I ended up in rehab as my intake of valium was now enough to put a small horse to sleep (oh and also because of alcoholism). I tell you that it was absolute hell withdrawing from valium.
I tried everything to stop my anxiety and fear around people.
The ironic thing is about two years ago I was prescribed Xanax (both xanax and valium are in the same group- benzodiazepines)
And found that I have not become addicted to it and that it helps so much.
I know I cannot take it every day.
It just cuts out the whole chain of events for me anxiety – fear – panic attack etc.
I am only saying this is how it works for me. We obviously are all very different.

The SSRI drugs - well paroxetine at least - have an antianxiety effect as well as antidepressive and also the effect of lessening shyness. Although the effect, to some extent, varies from individual to individual, you may find that this is a better alterative to benzos.

It really is a matter that should best be discussed with a Doctor however.

One word about buying drugs online DON'T! Been on PRESCRIBED drugs for a few years now, ciprimil followed by efexor, begged Dr to come off them as felt much better, but felt worse than when i first took them when i tried to come off them, so back on highest dose again! If i could come off them.....i would never take another AD again!!!!!!!! Very easy to get on them but a bloody nightmare to get off them! (Dr never told me that when they were prescribed!)
