Maybe a few drinks. Don't over do it though. If they aren't very talkative can't you just sit there quietly? You don't have to chat do you?

No, perhaps they don't talk to me bc they don't feel comfortable with me. That's happen. I'm usually very anxious in this kind of situations.

It's not so easy. Being an avoidant means that any normal task can be viewed as an extreme risk sport.

True. So if you do go, don't forget to pat yourself on the shoulder for just going! Even if not everything went as you would've liked, that small thing is an accomplishment already :)

You know how these things are. If something bad happen i will be rumiating the story now and then and it's a bad hit to my already low self-steem.
