Default Clever comebacks

I know this is a bit pathetic  , but would you feel a bit more confident if you had some comebacks prepared, or some kind of template on how to act.
If someone insults me, I get v anxious and my brain stops working - probably couldn't tell you my name.

Anyone got any ideas for:

'you're a bit of a loner aren't you"

"do you have any friends"

or a straight forward insult - is it just best to smile and ignore?

And of course, a big smile after every answer. Heh, though really it's more of a joke than anything, about as serious as anyone asking such silly questions in the first place.

those are the most stupid "insults" I've ever seen. maybe you're just overreacting and they were being nice? cause I don't get how you lot find such bad people, either that or you're so weak you never realized. Anyone I've met who has said stuff like that has just been curious. people might say I'm quiet and I'm like...well yeah,

if someone asks If I have any friends I'd be open and say no. I do, but that's besides the point. I'm just in a nice Uni bubble right now, and have a handfull of fairly good friends. plus noone is horrible, I don't get where you lot find them as I said... so yeah, at school I didn't have friends, especially at the end when I'd lost/discarded them all. if someone asked me I'd say no, or not many,

why would you care and want to project some kind of tough image of yourself onto people? obviously you're not in a state to make comebacks otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned it. it's ridiculous, it's not even a thing to come back on, what if they say "cam down, I was only asking" what would you say then? you'd look like an idiot. though preparing stuff could come in handy for NICE bits of conversation, especially stating them. but not comebacks....(so yes, it is a bit pathetic, and your confidence would be stripped the moment the person speaks after your fragile comeback)

Just reply with 'whats your point' or 'and your point is', or ' is that a problem'. Reply like that whilst smiling, generally get them to back off, if thats what your trying to acheive?

'you're a bit of a loner aren't you"

- I only hang around with intelligent people. See ya.

"do you have any friends"

- do you have anywhere else to be?

:P

Well I think the real reason people do that is they want a reaction out of you,
i doubt they care if you're a loner or whatever. They just want you to respond, and when you do respond it's either they feel bad about messing with you or they keep messing with you.

Gotta think wisely if you want respond with some kinda diss or in a more sarcastic/playful way. Some of these people can turn into friends, thing is they dont know how to act.

Here's one that can work if you really don't like the person:
"why don't you just fu*k off? Do you love me or something?"
end of story, if u keep saying that each time.

Try "You'd be a loner too if everyone who got close to you all had suspicious accidents"
