Connection Problem

since this occured yesterday, my access to the site has frozen, I contacted the webmaster and he advised me to use a proxy (which works). I wonder how many other are also blocked? I asked him to look into it.

I also noticed using a proxy prevents me from reading PMs or accepting new members

Are you sure that your inability to read PMs and accept members is a result of your using a proxy server?

Jup, it's quite limiting how I can view the pages here

I'm taking a break until this is fixed, had a few people email me saying they can't access the site either

My ISP advised me to change the dns to googles one and it works now

Happening again. Takes many attempts to access the site or reply to posts. Guess I'll wait for it to clear.
