I think that might not be a successful venture, lol. But interesting none-the-less. A few years ago I did actually look for something like this, but found nothing. Very recently, I saw an article on Yahoo about a dating site for the aesthetically challenged, I believe it was called "The Ugly Bug Ball". Maybe that could be of use to those with BDD, or just low self-esteem.

I checked out Ugly Bug Ball, and even made an account on there. I was kind of surprised and disappointed after checking out some of the profiles. There are a lot of good-looking people there and it doesn't seem so different from any other dating site. They either have low self-esteem (not as likely), or just want to flaunt their good looks among the uglies.

I read about it too but somewhere else. They recently celebrated their first marriage between two members.
Anyway there was someone who posted a site once I think some parts were members only but it was free....just can't remember what it was called!
Once I'm 18 I definitely will join a dating site, it might be my only hope in finding someone!

The ugly bug ball eh? Been checking it out..it seems they are pretty light hear-ted about it, its good to know that there are a lot of people out there who feel unhappy about their looks, from what I saw they werent really that bad looking anyway... I will change all that add some realism to their theme... Havent got a section for NZers though.
That will not be allowed on this site and is not up for debate, if people hook up here that is fine but the webmaster specifically stated that this site should not have a dating section or dating thread.

Nolongerlonely.com or trueacceptance.com are two good sites but I get discouraged trying to meet people. I feel that I reach out and I don't get that many positive results.
