do i suffer from love shyness

i am not shy and i speak a lot to people but when i talk to a girl i just can't do it. i get nervous and really shy so i was wondering what this disorder could be. i spoke to a doctor and he told me you have love shyness. is this true? i am 22 years old and never had a girlfriend because i am too shy with the opposite sex. i hope to have kids one day but this love shyness has destroyed me.

wow man, I can relate to this 100%... I can talk pretty normal with the opposite sex aslong as there arn't any feelings, but at only the smallest single hint of affection my brains just go complete nuts...
its ****ed up huh? Ofcourse most people feel tension at such moment, but I mostly can't get a single word out of my mouth. Like none at all... zero... nothing... ::eek::

I would start visualizing yourself talking to girls. See them looking at you and they are impressed by you. Do this every day and you will see improvement.

Were you always shy around girls say during your childhood, or has this developed latter in life for you?
