i believe in God because if i didn't then i wouldn't be alive right now but that's not the only reason why i believe in God.

No, I do not believe in a God or gods.
Raised in an evangelistic Christian household, I no longer believe in any kind of god or fate or whatever. It is simply not logical. It is comforting to believe in a higher purpose, but overwhelming evidence indicates it is not realistic. Life is often harsh, but if you can manage it, you can have a good experience before you expire.

Yes I believe in God. I was raised as a Christian and I still believe. I haven't lost my faith.

I have no idea what to believe. I like to think there is a god but I'm not 100% sure. I hope there is an after life because I think being in complete darkness for eternity would suck.

I wish it was as easy as just telling yourself to believe, but it doesn't work like that. It may not be too late for some people who have not thought about it as long as I have. There are way too many logical reasons why I can never believe in a God anymore. I'm agnostic though because I know I have no way of knowing 100%. If we do have a creator, it seems very certain that it is completely indifferent to what happens to us or it is a sadistic creator that likes suffering.

god isn't a sadist creator and he does not like suffering. he simly gives you a choice. believe or don't believe. if you don't then you go to hell where the unsaved belong. the bible says that in order to even get to heaven then you have to be a Christian/saved.

And that is exactly why so many people choose to not believe. You cant give someone freedom of choice, and then punish them when they make a choice you dont like. It would be like it I owned slaves, and I said to them "Hey you guys can either stay and work for me, or you can leave and fend for yourselves", then as soon as a few get up to walk away I shoot them in the backs.
