Do you have any psychological disorders, and do you think they were caused by hh?

So:

1) Do you have any psychological disorders?

2) Do you think they were caused by hh or do you think both hh and these psychological problems are caused by your genetic/nervous system build?

For me:

1) That I know of:
Social Anxiety
OCD
Mild psychosis

2) I think hh and my psychological woes are caused by my genetic/nervous system build, because I can remember having these obsessive thoughts ever since I was aware of such problems (maybe since I was 13). However, I quit taking meds a few days ago because I want to live a healthier way of life. Hope I can cure my psychological problems naturally.

1) Yes, I have generalized social phobia.

2) No, I don't have HH. Well, my SA has probably to do with my genes.

Oh, thanks for your reply, but I'm mostly aiming this at the people with hh (that's why it's on the hh forum :))

If I didn't have HH, I think I would have overcome all my psychological problems by now. Most of them, if not all anyway.
Getting rid of SA is actually pretty easy once you understand a couple of things. But HH is a huge problem for everyone, let alone "weak" and "sensitive" people like me.

Now that I am looking at my post, I wonder if what happened before I was 13 is what lead to my problems. Maybe what we picked up as kids--fragile and vulnerable--is what mostly gets etched into our brains, etc. I wonder...

What are these couple of things? btw, have you tried everything for hh. Which locales do you have your hh? I just recently was able to find a solution for my hh problem with iontophoresis. Though it increases my facial sweating, having my hands dry feels like the greatest thing ever, and I feel as though I just started living. At 24 years of age, I should have completed university and worked for 3 years, but because of my hh I missed out on plenty of things and wasted plenty of my life. Now I'm working on plenty of things, and recently I'm trying to get off klonopin and other meds I used to take. The withdrawal makes me feel like crap and I get this twitching (it also feels like my brain twitches as well, which is a weird feeling)

Same here, I'm 25, just dropped out of university and I have no life. HH wasn't the only thing that ruined my life, but maybe it caused most of my problems.
I haven't tried anything yet, because I like cycling, and if I train hard I should sweat. Blocking the sweat on my head wouldn't be good, I'm afraid. Mine is generalized, it used to be mainly cranial/facial, but currently it's facial-back-butt, and axillary only when I'm anxious.
I need to find a solution, but I'm still trying to find out more about the neurological causes. Then I would need to see a doctor who is an expert on sports, I guess.

As for SA, you just need to understand who you are and what you want, and then learn more about your body, your reactions, society, etc. and do some experiments to try to be comfortable with yourself and the others. It sure can be done, there's nothing weird or wrong with SA sufferers... But the SA caused by HH can't be overcome in this way, and that's why HH is a big problem. Because HH and its effects can't be accepted. No one in the world likes people with HH.

I do have mental disorders, but i don't have HH. They're a consequence of being treated like crap all my life, and in part genetical (my mother and grandma have anxiety related issues).
