Definitely! In previous jobs I had to interact both with colleagues and members of the public. I found this extremely stressful and have noticed that I'm now much happier audio typing. It's boring but I do this job well. My problems always start and quickly escalate when I have to deal with people.

I work in customer service but the position I hold is probably the least social anyone could have in my company. I lucked out in that record. But it would be nice to have a better paying job.

Yes, I am trained as a veterinary technician, but am not working in that field because I have performance anxiety. I'm also not comfortable talking to people.
