Dry Cracked Skin

Combined with the cold weather and the use of iontophoresis I know have bone dry cracked skin on my hand. I am worried applying lotion will cause my hands to sweat again. It has the tendency to make them moist...

What do you all do about the dry skin? Any preferred lotions? Maybe I will just count my blessings and live with the dry skin!

Thanks for all your help!

I use lotion when my hands get extremely dry and start to crack. I guess I'm at times paranoid that the lotion will make me sweat, yet it doesn't. Experiment, see how the lotion react to you.

mine crack and bleed during winter. Badly. My mom has it even worse, it's like she got into a fight or something. I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion a few times a day.

^ Same here and I use the exact same stuff. It's been doing pretty good, but sometimes it seems like it's not working enough :/

Don't use really hot water, it dries out the skin even more. Also, try to stay away from any alkaline-based sanitizers and lotions.

During the winter, I try to spend as little time outside as possible, because it dries out my skin so badly! It's awful. Have you tried any Eucerin yet? It's done wonders for me this season! It helps that I do some work with them, so I keep some at my desk, but I usually dab some on right after I wash my hands. The calming creme is great for my poor hands.

Mine doesn't crack but i get a large amount of holes in my hands

I use idromed 5 for 30 minutes at 22 power about 4-5 of every 7 days
