Hello,

Ill start with saying that I would have never guessed there is SUCH a huge community for this issue... Its great to see that there is..

Im 22 years old and have been suffering from over sweating in my underarm and palm hands for many many years... I decided that I have to deal with this problem..

I went to see several doc's for guidance and read couple of health forums... Most of the treatments I came across were either Surgery or Botox.. Simply every person said he's done one of the two... Yesterday I went to see another doc' after a relative recommanded him.. He recommanded Drysol and Odaban.. Said both will be excellent (in case they will work) for me but cant really say which one I should use as both are good...

Would like to know what you guys think?
Drysol or Obadan

Thank you very much

hey, glad you found the forum. I know it was a HUGE relief to have people to go to for help.

I have severe HH in palms, feet, and a little bit of underarms.

For palms I have been getting botox shots twice a year. In addition to that I have been using Drysol when I get really nervous or the botox starts to wear off. Before I did the botox i used drysol as well and it worked great but over time it starts to lose its affectiveness (but it still works).

I would definately recomend drysol, i tried odriban (sp?) for a little bit for palms and i thought that drysol did a better job. I have heard odriban is best for underarms.

If I were you i would look into iontophoresis as well, I use it for feet and if i didnt get botox for my palms i would be using it for my palms as well.

Hope this helps!

The difference between Drysol and Odaban is Odaban is a spray which causes less irritation. I used Odaban for my hands when I first had HH in my palms. It took two weeks for applications every night to see a result but it still wasn't good enough. It made my hands feel weird, they were dry but still sweaty-strange.

I suggest using a iontophoresis machine for your hands-this works very well for me-my hands are sweat free and use Odaban or Drysol just for underarms.

Hello, thanks for the replies.. Keep em coming if you got something to say...

Underarm
Obadan

Palms
I think Ill also use Obadan as Ive already ordered it.. Should arrive in a week or two...

Botox - My problem with this is the price.. Where I live it is around 620$...

Edit: Ive read some more on Iontophoresis machines... Seems pretty good though it is quite expensive... About 300 euros right? (though I did think about botox which is more expensive) I guess Ill try Obadan first and hope I wont need Iontophoresis..

Another question, how long does Obadan last (one bottle, not one use)? Ive read on the official website somewhere between 6-12 months but that seems like a real long time for just one unit... Is that true?
