Did you know a lot of people develop inferiority complexes? even people without social anxiety?

I developed mine from my upbringing. It was stressful.

Well its not uncommon at all.

Some of these inferiority complexes are subtle and may not even be acknowledged conciously while others are obvious to the person. Just FYI Social anxiety is very often a side-effect of having an inferiority complex. Personally I don't see how it can ever be the other way around. I don't see how you can have Social phobia and not have it. Good news is you can battle the issue and hence, social anxiety.

What I'm posting is seriously the most helpful thing I have ever read=) Just makes things so crystal clear. If you care about getting over social anxiety you might seriously want to read it.

Since I can't copy and past the article in a quote because of character limit, Here is a link.

I hope it helps, a little light goes on in your head.
Please post a comment or story about your inferiority along with how the report may have changed your life. Also, let others know about this free report. You are by far from alone in experiencing inferiority.

discuss and please bump the thread regularly?

Fantastic post! I'm studying psychology in school and I found this incredibly fascinating. Plus it actually made sense. So much of what I read in self-help articles are indeed just positive thinking, but I can really see how visualizing a situation like they described would help. I've heard of this used in other areas, to prepare for a presentation for example, but never thought to apply it to everyday situations.

What really drew me in was the statement "Failure demotivates you, resulting in more failure." It makes sense that by missing class I see myself as lazy and by seeing myself as lazy, I miss class. Its all a big vicious circle like so many problems with SA.

Thank you very much for this post, I think I might actually get the book too. Got to check it out first though.

A little light indeed.

You are right that an inferiority complex is central. There are plenty of self-putdowns on this website. Bad experiences are internalized so that the person decides they mean something negative about themselves rather than about the perpetrators. There should be more of this sort of thread.

A lot of this is sprinkled through SPW the problem is it's buried by what Hoddes said. I've seen many articles and videos ppl post that get buried for a while.

Knew a lot of this but other ways of saying a lot of things already said. The inferiority complex never heard it put quite like this but makes total sense of course. Im sure many others will benefit a lot from this. Great article. =)

I was skeptical at first, but after reading nearly the entire thing, and actually feeling what he talks about in the exercise, I have to say it's one of the best articles I've read in helping me overcome my fears.

Thank you for this post!

I need to post a book I'm reading, that has everything this article said literally, and was written 60 years ago... really great. I'll try to do so later tonight.

It has some interesting points, but ultimately I'm extremely skeptical, mainly because the author is constantly promoting his self-help program throughout.
