Hi guys, I suffered from flushing/blushing for a long time, I can even remember the first day this nightmare started, in the beginning it didnít affect me at all due to the fact that I didnít know my condition till I found it. When I realize about it, it got worse; this is something that actually gets worse as you focus on it, kind of weird,... by Santiago1

I'm really sad this year, you know why...not just because my Scottish mother passed away four months ago from the worst possible brain cancer but because my family is falling apart. All my father does is drink like an alcoholic with my brother living there on probation as well as drinking constantly. All they do is watch T.V of sports or something... by Cetnien

Hi everyone. I have started seeing a therapist about my anxiety and blushing. (BLUSHING, NOT FLUSHING.) I am going to record everything in this thread so everyone can try what I learn in my sessions! I hope that at least one person can find it useful. I usually see my therapist every Tuesday. Okay, so I'm going to write down everything my... by SeptembersGold19

Blushing crushes your confidence. Itís been proven over and over again. The psychological effects of a persistent blushing problem can really affect you mentally after time. Soon enough, you begin to blush at just the thought that you might possibly blush. The redness becomes perpetual because anticipating your embarrassing complexion actually... by woofytalk

At last, short ago I solved this terrible problem Ive had since i was born! Why I used to blush even when someone looked at me for one second... Why did it happen?! Cause I didnt accept that others may have had a terrible opinion about me... So blushing was like a request of forgiveness: "forgive me cause im not such a cool or good person" that is... by shycrs

I have been a blusher for many years ever since grade school. I use to get so embarrassed when I would get called out to read or answer a question or present a project. Everyone would laugh and point out how red I was even the horrible teacher I had at the time. Anyways life went on and my blushing didn't bother me for awhile. Now that I am older... by Trycia

Hi I work in a fast food outlet while I'm at uni just part time to pay for my car insurance etc. However, whenever I see friends/family/people I know and even girls which I find attractive I'll go plumb red. It might sound trivial but its such a horrible feeling, even worse when they notice. Its just so annoying, its stopping me from doing... by rawrt

HI! This week when I was talking to my mum about our bad past experiences we had in our lives, I started talking about my fears. In few minutes I found out my mum has Erythrophobia too. I knew she gets red and nervous quite often, but I did not know it is such a problem for her. She seems to have the same symptoms as me and really bad anxiety,... by adamm

Does anyone use lotion to help their blushing/redness? Just went to CVS and got a product from Skin Effects called "Redness Control Laser Correcting Treatment with Red Algae Concentrate". There's only an ounce of it and it cost $20, so I'm really hoping it'll help me with my blushing and redness. Even if no one else has used this, feel... by WastedPotential

::o: Hey everyone, I stumbled across this forum tonight and it felt great to know Im not the only one who struggles with facial blushing. Speaking for myself, I almost always feel completely alone with this problem and I envy the people who can carry on freely in their lives without blushing but I know I'm not alone with this. Hey guys. I'm a blusher and a sweater. I was going to drop out of college so many times in the recent past... it's becoming so difficult to continue. And yet I keep going! I didn't know how I was going to face another semester, but I applied for a scholarship anyways and to my delight/horror I got the scholarship. That just locked me into a year... by becomingmyself

I went to the doctors today and filled her in about my social anxiety stemming from my severe blushing, and she said something which though sounds obvious to some, it has really helped me cope through the day at uni, she said most of the time when people blush the people that see it don't care whether you or don't and that they won't percieve as... by M158

Hey guys, I can't believe it, I haven't blushed in what seems like forever now. I am even under a lot of stress which always used to make it worse! I was asked to stand in front of the class one day recently, and I felt myself starting up a panic attack because I knew my face would turn bright red! But I got up in front of everyone and was able... by becomingmyself

I always had a pretty good life and it's come as such a shock to my parents in the past 2 or so years that I've let this blushing issue basically run my life. Like I don't hang out with friends anymore, mainly because they're away at school, but also because I don't feel like I ever have anything to say and I'm gonna turn red anyway and seem like... by k8steroonis
