Mmm sound good! I've never tried (Eel) but heard it delicious! You need to try
everything I pointed out, you'll love it.

I hate you for posting this, my mouth is watering now ::p:

I don't know much Japanese cuisine, but teriyaki chicken is what I usually get when I go to a Japanese restaurant. And yes, green tea ice cream is AMAZING.

My absolute favorite that I've had so far though would have to be vegetable tempura. Has to be done right, though. None of that soggy mall kiosk crap - a gourmet Japanese restaurant makes it the best, of course.

MMMMM batter-coated veggies, what's not to love? I want some now soooo bad.

I never had anything japanese. But I read about something like nattó for example, and that sounds disgusting.

Yes, it does sound nasty, thank goodness the rest of Japanese food isn't torture and is quite delicious.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh everything.

Cold soba noodles with veggie tempura
japanese-soba1.jpg

melon bread (pan) -- which is pretty difficult to make, by the way. Not melon flavored but named after a melon for having a cookie shell on the outside and soft bread in the center.

OMO I want to try the melon bread. (Drools) and I've never actually had cold soba, what's it like?

Ewww I'm not that keen, I used to make it plus a few other recipes when I worked as a chef in an Asian Street food restaurant. Luckily I stole some recipes ;)
