Favorite meal.

Okay, if you could only have one more meal...what would your favorite, perfect meal consist of?? And dessert.

It's a tough decision for me, but I think I would have to choose:

Roasted chicken, stuffed with my dad's sage dressing, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, corn or carrots, yummy

And for dessert, a piece of Tiramisu from Cincinnati's Findlay Market!!!

My mom's Hungarian Chicken and Dumplings or Cheesy Broccoli soup were a close second and third though.

starter: tomato, basil, and mozzarella salad

entree: pot roast with carrots, potatoes, onions, gravy

side: sweet corn (aka roastin' ears)

beverage: cold hefeweizen (several)

dessert: cherry pie a la mode and an espresso

Shepherds Pie with potatoes and vegetables...
Or a Pizza of course :) and chips :)

Desert..Flapjack with hot custard all over it yummm :)

And after all that for the midnight snack Doritos and salsa dip :cool:

The same thing I cook every weekend:

a thick ribeye steak with sauteed mushrooms and onions
grilled corn on the cob
fried potatoes
salad
a few beers

My perfect meal would include coconut shrimp, rice, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, calamari with sweet and sour sauce on top, and sushi. I'd have a nice, cold glass of root beer with it. For dessert I would love to have cheesecake. A close second favorite meal for me would be a big bowl of borscht, with bacon bits and sour cream on the top.

That sounds delicious! The only thing I've tried on there is the calamari which I adore, the other stuff sounds tasty as. Assuming beef and broccoli is a chinese type dish? I remember the Chinese takeaways in the states were rather scrumptious, seemed to pack an extra yum somewhere compared to the UK.

Oh I forgot to answer, I like a good Sunday roast with all the trimming, dreamt about it last night in fact. I also love Caribbean food! Oxtail with rice and peas is probably my favourite :)

Smoked potato topped with sour cream, cheese, butter, brisket, and bbq sauce. Sweet tea to drink, of course, I'm a Texan. Dessert would be either peach cobbler with ice cream, or a huge slice of pecan pie.
