I have become addicted of buying games.

Usually I focus on one game at a time, but now I've bought like 3-4 games before I have finished the previous games. :D Just made a promise to myself that I'm not going to buy any games before I've played the former ones.

Now playing Assassin's Creed II, MW3, NHL 2010 and Saints Row 2 coming on this weekend. :)

I am! I've been excited for Mass Effect 3 ever since I finished Mass Effect 2 (love that game). Only, like, 9 more days.

I love the Mass Effect series. The second is my favorite and I actually played it first, ha. Maybe not the best idea, but whatever.

The only problem is I will be playing it on PC (I don't have an Xbox or PS3) and my PC is really outdated now (Core 2 Quad @ 3.2Ghz, GTX285, etc).

I'm really looking forward to Mass effect 3 as well. My friend is currently borrowing the 1st and 2nd one from me. I really appreciate the games that immerse me in the story and make me feel like I'm apart of that "fantasy universe". unfortunately I might wait a while before I can buy it.

so did i :D i went straight on the the first one after and then played the second one again :D

I think I played ME2 two times after playing the first. I know I've played it three times total. The third time was the only time I played it with DLC.

I went back to the first again because the first time I didn't do nearly as much as I could have with my crew (as far as talking, at least). But for some reason I kind of lost interest and stopped, haven't picked it back up since. Not sure why.

Its because playing ME1 is like a pain in the ass. I loved the story of the game but i spent months to finish it because i always got tired from playing after two hours.

I'm not getting ME3.
First of all, because I think the series has been on a downward spiral, after the first one.

Secondly, the whole Prothean DLC thing, and the concept of being able to pre-order DLC for an unreleased game, is crappy business to me.

When Mass Effect came out for the 360, I was so jealous that I couldn't play it because I have a PS3 at the time. When ME2 came out for the PS3, I was expecting much but I was a bit let down. I didn't feel like I was enjoying it. Sure the story is nice but the gameplay got old fast for me.

As for ME3, maybe when it becomes cheaper I will get it just to see how the story ends.

so yeah i'm a huge mass effect fan and i still haven't gotten 3 and i don't plan to get it anytime soon. i might get it in 6 months when they finally release it on steam and it's $20. probably not though...i find it annoying how every game site seems to give it a score someplace in the 90s and the player reviews i've read basically make it sound like a 3...i suspect that huge discrepancy means companies pay game sites for good reviews?

They will never release it on Steam, EA owns Bioware and EA demand people to use Origin for their games. Origin isn't even that bad when you know how to stop it scanning your hdd Lol.

it has nothing to do with origin being bad or not, it's the principle of them being monopolizing ****s and trying to force my hand. Also, their arrogance for so blatantly trying to sell me something piecemeal is insulting. If they made the game and then months down the road they design and release extra content and want to charge me more money...fine, but they basically just take a game and cut it into 10 pieces and want me to pay extra for each piece.

The internet is a vast and resourceful place if you know where to look. You can stick it up the systems ass if you so wish. ;)

i know but i'd rather just be the brick wall their marketers keep running headfirst into until they decide to stick it up their own ass as a symbolic gesture of accepting their guilt and apologizing to me (and the rest of the fans).

and anyway i just keep getting the impression it is crap and not worth my time...i eventually will play it though so no spoilers plz, k tnx!

Well I would of thought "borrowing" a product "using" it would of been a more of a gesture but hey, you know where I am if you wish for help.

Now I think Imma go on some ME3 Multiplayer.

I can't wait for The Witcher 2 to come out for the 360 next month. I'm pretty much unable to play anything on PC so I'm excited.
