Get together

It would be a dream come true for me! But it seems like there's never anybody else with SA near any of us, we all seem scattered across the world!

This is so true. Even people who come from the UK, they're all so far away from one another!

ROFL, so creepy that site is being mentioned. I was a member there for two years. Amazing how popular I was there versus here. Shame it's all gay attention. Still, good for the old ego.

...Ok, on a serious note, im not sure, i think even if we were all in one room it would be hard for us.....unless maybe there was a giant bank of computers, maybe then we could all log on here while being in the same room and chat?

LOL:D

I think SA + SA would totally depend on the individuals involved.:)
I would rather be with someone who was not trying to change me all the time because they just don't understand SA. As well as nagging or criticizing me for not being "like normal people"!

Shouldn't people with SA get together with other people with SA then each would understand the other and you could have a good relationship huh?

I think its great if people get together to make friendships. I've met quite a few SA people and its one of the best things I've done to help with my SA.

I'm not sure about specifically looking for relationships though. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with it, if it does happen thats great. But I think if you are specifically looking for a relationship with an SA person you are only going to create yourself even more problems.

It could be a good thing then again if you date someone without it they can help you through it and force you to face your fears..

but I do agree regarding the understanding part of it I would love someone to totally get me and my behaviors :-(

why is shy + shy not a good combo? they both understand each other situation and they can get along, i think it can work out a lot more than shy + outgoing

Yea, unfortunately people don't like me, including people with SA.

yeah me neither, cant make friends, not even in this site lol

I tried to meet up with an SA girl once. But I got so nervous that I never told her where I was going to meet her. And I never actually showed up, either. Ever since, I've been too afraid to talk to her.

In the end everything worked out, though. I imagine that she didn't show up either.
