Here's a new place to meet friends with SAD
Hi guys, a few months ago, a friend and I made a support group for people with social anxiety disorder on skype. Don't let the skype tag scare you, we just mostly talk over text in a group setting
So far it's been a great way to meet people who go through the same thing I have. It's been pretty amazing, I never expected skype groups to be so helpful. My social skills still aren't 100% normal but it has gotten SO much better sine the group. I had literally 0 friends so I didn't really know how to talk to people haha. Besides talking about anxiety, we have A LOT of laid back talks so even though it's a support group, most people just consider it like a place to hang out. Since posting about it on some other forum, we have a few members from all over, so the chat has people on nearly 24/7. Stop by whenever you want to talk to someone!! It's not a huge group so far, 26 people in total but only around 10 active members.
If anyone is interested, add me on skype: brittanyj101
