Scientology is super crazy..
You probably mean "The Master", right? I haven't seen it, I should!
Yes I also enjoy Philip Seymour Hoffman's movies a lot. He was/is so awesome. I especially enjoyed his acting in The Talented Mr Ripley. (And in Along Came Polly.... he was really funny in that)

He was great in "Magnolia" too, same director as "the Master." I love that movie.

I some how came across an interesting documentary called "The Culture High". It's mostly about marijuana and they basically explain why the government don't want to make it legal. There's a lot of interesting points made in the film. It's very interesting and worth a watch.

These are like mini-documentaries. idk if this show still comes on t.v. but I used to watch it all the time.

anyway, Its interesting to think about all the different things people deem as "beautiful" all across the world/in different cultures.

I remember one time I saw a documentary about beauty and whether or not its programmed into our brains from birth... they showed toddlers a bunch of pictures of different people who were considered "pretty" or "ugly" according to certain cultural standards of beauty....idr what the outcome of the experiment was though.

Drugs INC is another good show that is done in a "mini-documentary" sort of way.

The doco about Edward Snowden was an eye opener.

But this one was really breath-taking- because it captured the largest glacier melt in action still to this day- (the whole doco is on youtube)

Also there was a doco from last year about how the chinese workers in apple factories are very poorly treated to the point where they commit suicide or die on the job. But I cant remember what that was called.
