How are you feeling?

There are a small number of researchers around the world who study blushing in order to understand it and help people who suffer erythrophobia. A really good book to go to in order to discover what is known currently is - Crozier, W. R., & de Jong, P. J. (Eds.). (2013). "The Psychological Significance of the Blush". Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. It will give a good overview on all the research by those researchers working in the field. In our university we are also working on research, with the current study (if you are interested) accessed via the Facebook page "Erythrophobia / érythrophobie".

Frustrated in several ways, my mind feels like it's full of stuff, like an shed that needs cleaning. The loneliness comes and goes, but I want it to stop. This pursuit of normalcy is a mother, but I'm still trying.

Very, very frustrated. I'm taking this stupid accounting course, for the third time, that I need to pass in order to graduate, and I'm already off to a bad start. To make matters worse, I got pissed off, threw my book at the wall, and made a small hole. I'm sure my mom will be just pleased when she finds out about that. Sometimes, I really wish I'd just get hit by a car, struck by lightning, or whatever and just end my pathetic stupid life.

Mate, to care about others you have to first care about yourself.
In my opinion if you can't get along with your relatives, just try to tolerate them.
But Dont give them power by showing them that they cause you any distress, it only feeds their ego's.

Aye, that's true.

Kinda difficult when you've spent most of yer life puttin' other folks need ahead o' yer ain. And being telt that yer "selfish" when ye do summit for yersel' doesnae help things.

How, exactly? They've been causing me distress for a long time now, I'm pretty sure it's noticable with me. There's only some many time ye can be insulted by yer family and laugh it off... Plus, ah'm no' great at hidin' how ah feel if I'm upset aboot summit.

Sounds like you need space... Are you able to go hiking? Sometimes that can be a good escape.

Why? What happened?

Well basically somebody mislead their circumstances to win my sympathy, which they got. Then i find out more about them. They let it slip in conversation. When confronted, they were like "i didn't lie.... i just didn't tell the whole truth." Just people being people. Just aggravating, the fact they'd be so underhanded.

Feeling pretty angry..frustrated...helpless at the moment.
I separated from my wife of 19 years because she's an alcoholic and she was putting our kids in danger.
I get a phone call from 'child support and maintenance' today and they inform me that I'll have to pay my ex 'child maintenance'.
I say; ' but the kids still live with me.. I'm raising them pretty much on my own now..'
'Unfortunately' she says, ' you earn more money than she does, so you have to pay her.'

Ah think ah might move oot uh the house ah share wi' ma mum, hopefully within the next year.

Mibbe she finally deserves be alone and miserable instead of project her constant negativity ontae me, as she done for the last 10 years of ma life. Or mibbe she'll be happy no' huvin me, ma disability and the burden of responsibility tae care for me. :idontknow:
