How are you feeling?

I'm feeling nauseous. My dermatologist prescribed me antibiotics called doxycycline. I'm supposed to use them for 3-6 months, with a check up at the 3 month mark in December so he can see what, if any, progress there's been. I've been taking them twice a day with breakfast and dinner, and have been feeling nausea and slight throat irritation. My dermatologist told me those are common side effects, but to call him if it gets out of hand.

I just want to share some happy with everyone, I know things can be really hard and life can weigh down you you, but I know you all deserve to be happy. Remember you ARE worth it. You ARE special, unique and most of all you are IMPORTANT. Your happiness matters.

Thanks dottie. I'm hoping its just my body trying to adjust to it, and that it doesn't last throughout the whole time I have to take it.

Antibiodics mess with people. I've seen it. I'm sure it's as bad as it'll get. If it does get worse there are numerous ones out there now so they might try you on a different one if it comes to that.

You want to know how I got these scars?
Feeling kinda... Like despair inside. I went outside earlier, its night. I stood looking up at the stars for a few minutes. So vast...so beautiful.
I wanted to jump into a starship and leave earth behind. A one way trip to anywhere but here.

I've been having a strong desire to dump out the pills into my garbage can while an angry sounding song is playing as I do it, but they are supposed to help, so I'm trying to distract myself from the side effects and keep up the hope that this is the worst of it.

It's frustrating isn't it?

Interesting you mention thyroid. I've been wondering about that myself.

Do you take medication for that?

I used to take prescribed medication. First they tried me on different dosages of Synthroid. You usually have to get blood tests done every 3 months. I did that for years and then for a few more years the doctor put me on a combination of Synthroid and Armour thyroid. I was still getting the ups and downs from the medicine. I was originally diagnosed with Hypothyroidism ( Hashimotos) which is really hard to control because of the thyroid still being active yet elevating levels keep going up and down. I notice when I am in a slump, exercise helps to gain my energy, but days that I am feeling bad sometimes I just can't get the motivation to do anything. I have been trying natural herbal supplements for it now. They seem to help as much as any medicine has.. which is close to nothing, but I do not see the point of spending useless money on a doctor who cannot cure me and tired of throwing money away.
