How are you feeling?

There's a lot of great things going on in my life, I too often lose sight of that. A lot of my dreams I have made come true despite my anxiety. I've achieved in spite of it.

Life is sometimes so cruel and tough, even when you don't deserve it.

Sometimes I wonder why does this happen, why to suffer all this? What's the point of suffering so much?

What will happen when we surf across galaxies with FTL spaceships... and there will be still people suffering? what's the point of this? Seriously.

That's horrible.

I loaned my brother a lot of money a few years ago and he's never paid me back a single cent. If it wasn't for my mother I'd take him to small claims court, but that would just hurt her, so I simply have to take the loss. It's just one more thing on the pile of stupid, shitty, things he's done over the last fifteen years.

Any way, if you've documented the loan and have emails, or other proof saying that she'd pay you back, then you could probably take her to court and win easily.

Of course, I know social phobia likely makes that hard, but at least it's an option.

I have a recent text message stating the amount a confirmation of it, but I don't know if that'd stand. There's probably a lot longer history of texts on her phone, since mine is older and doesn't have memory. I just don't know though, if they don't have it and all this would do is put them in jail, I don't know if that would solve anything. I mean she's been fighting homelessness, and stayed in a mental hospital the last week just to be out of the rain. I just don't understand why they aren't giving me the money they say they have, I don't know if it's I'm too naive and trusting, or something else is at play here.

I think the text message would be valid evidence. It passed through a third party, namely the phone company, which has no interest in the matter, so the records of who sent it would be valid. The phone company may also have a copy of the texts that you no longer have.

Spent three weeks feeling upbeat, which is a great relief. I've been shut off in my own universe, running from the bad and towards the good. Off to my SA support group now. Gonna forget yesterday and move forward. Somehow, I feel braver.

tired but recovering. I did some household DIY in a room which was approaching 30 degrees, also did my usual exercise which nearly killed me in this heat. i'm just glad tomorrow will be more mild.

piles are playing up in the last day or so, (sorry tmi).

You want to know how I got these scars?
Feeling a bit crappy.

I tried reaching out to someone, that someone pretty much stone walled me.

Seriously, why do I even bother?

Probably because, like me, ye thought that person would give a f**k if ye reached out an' try to help ya, right? Cuz they gave ye the "Am always here if ye want to talk" but the minute ye start talkin' about how yer feelings they just look you with an expression that basically said: "See you, you're no' right in tha heid".

It's a civil matter, so she wouldn't go to jail, she'd just have to pay-up, or risk having her wages garnished (doesn't seem like an option), or her possessions siezed instead. It's a tough decision, and one I don't expect would be taken lightly, but if you feel like you're not being dealt with honestly, then it's something you can look into.

I would send her a message asking when she thought she could pay me back, or mention working-out a payment plan. You wouldn't have to paint a very vivid picture with your messages, a small-claims judge can read between the lines very well; they also have a lot of leeway when it comes to interpreting the law and considering evidence.

You just need to show the nature of the transaction, basically indicating that it was not a gift.
