Last night, I smoke a cigareete in my room for the first time. I woke up in the morning, and you could smell it a little bit, but it takes a long time to go away completely. I just smoked anotherone.

My parents don't smoke and wouldn't like it if they found out that I smoked. How do you get rid of the smell quickly?

I sprayed some Great Value Febric Refrsher (Fabreeze) but it dosen't help a lot.

Indeed the smell does penetrate everything... My niece started smoking when she was around 14... She tried to hide it and only smoked outside or out the bathroom window... You could smell the smoke on her clothes - even her hair - very clearly if she was in the same room as you. Unless you're around people who are so used to the smell of smoke that they won't notice, it's practically impossible to hide the fact.

I left my window open all night, and my bedroom door open. It's in the basement.

The smell is pretty much all gone. I took a wet nap, and wiped my face and hair. I ate some food, also putting on the Orajel, gives a stong smell, so the smell is gone from my mouth.

I won't smoke in the house anymore.

Non smokers will always be able to smell the faintest hint of smoke.
Smokers, on the other hand... might not unless it's very obvious.

They'll find out eventually, Foxface. Better prepare yourself for that, I think.

Buy some pure peppermint oil? It's a very loud smell, sometimes if you just open up the bottle you can smell it throughout a room, or from other rooms. That would kill it for real and make things minty. Sometimes spraying is not just enough. Get a clean rag put some aroma oils and start cleaning your room all over with it. You can buy some eucalyptus plants. When you vacuum your room don't forget to shake carpet freshener. Open up a window and let everything mix.

The smell of cigarette smoke literally sticks to everything. My grandparents smoke, so even though I don't, even after visiting their house I smell like I've been chain smoking. Airing out a room and using scented products might help mask it. However, it will probably still smell on you.

I don't know how to get rid of the smoke smell from an entire room, but I do know how to get rid of it from books and cases. Just put scented dryer sheets in them and let them stay in there for a while. Your stuff will smell like flowers for a while, but eventually the smell will go away, and the smoke smell will be gone too.

Hi Foxface,
Open your room windows and let the fresh air comes in. I will advice you to never smoke again as smoking cause certain types of cancer and has harsh effects on your skin. Smoking effects your heart and can lead to stroke and cardiovascular disease. Smoking effects your stamina and my lead to depression or anxiety.
