Default How do you know if someone is talking about you?

How do you know if someone / a group of people are talking about you? I had a situation tonight at work where I thought a group was, but they didn't say my name or anything. I was right in the same room as them, but I dunno maybe I am just paranoid? Is it likely for people to talk about you when you're in the same room?

Why would they talk about you? If you didn't do anything to any of them then most likely they aren't talking about you and if they are who cares? You didn't do anything to warrant it so they are the ones who are acting foolish and those in the group who have common sense will see this and will not hold anything said about you against you.

I think your being paranoid, it happens to me often... but then at times what Iam being paranoid about and think iam just hearing something really happens and makes me feel lost and confused

Last time I was at the hairdresser and there was a guy next to me. The hairdresser asked him what kind of haircut he wishes, and he answered he doesn't wanna look as ugly as me and they both laughed... I got no idea if that's what really happened or I just imagined it, it's weird as, I can't imagine someone can be that mean and I nver been told Iam ugly before

My point is I guess it's paranoia,

Yeah, maybe I am being paranoid. But, there was another incident yesterday where someone was talking about me, the thing was: the guy who was talking about me misinterpreted what was going on. Apparently he called some other guy by my name, the other guy got really angry, but I assumed he was talking about the other dude with my name, who no one likes b/c he is lazy and abrasive. And it turned out I was right, even if i was initially disagreed with.

Bascically, the situation revealed itself not to be bad at all, and even OTHER people can take situations the wrong way. So, I think paranoia is a factor for me and I wish I knew how to change that

Default Hey, Been there today

Hey
I was there in that kind of place today Mr Tornado
My problems at work tend to lead to parania about my coworkers. I think they use hand signals, and clicks with their mouths to relay a notion that i'm a loony, or something to that efect. I tried to go to a supervisor today and it pissed a lot of people off, but I had it to do and I did. It is dificult for me to even get myself to go to work, but I don't have a choice. I'm not far from 50 years old and I need to start confronting my fears sooner or later. I haven't been in a real relationship in nearly 12 years. and longer than that for having someone I could call a friend, other than family who make me feel paraniod as well. I think that they are in leauge with those at work and suspect them of communicating behind my back, and have accused them as well. It rips my heart out to know that it isn't true, but I can't stop beleaving my crazy thoughts. I'm trying to find some strength in confronting my fears without getting my head kikked in by a redneck or skinhead. where I live you are a red-neck, or *****.
I hope I haven't scared the hell out of you guys/galls.
thanks for reading my vent today.

At the hairdressers, my reaction would be depending on my mood.
That sounds like something that could make me really mad, or make me really laugh.

OK here's what you do:

1.Get a hold of your manager's keys
2.Go on your lunch break and make a copy of the building key
3.Replace your manager's keys
3.Go to your workplace after hours and use your copied key to get in
4.Install covert listening devices throughout the store
5.Wear an ear piece at work so you can listen in on conversations

OR

1.Stop giving a shit
2.???
3.Profit
