Hello everyone!

I was really excited when my doctor prescribed 5mg Oxybutynin (Generic)
yesterday. (Also known as Ditropan)

I wanted Avert/Robinul but the doctor has not heard of it before so she just prescribed me 5mg of IR Oxybutynin. I heard Instant release works better.
I think dermatologists know more about HH but my appointment for the dermatologist is in September.

I am suppose to break it in half and take 2.5mg twice a day. It doesn't seem to be working :(

I took 5mg today and I only notice a little bit of a difference.

How long does it take for Oxybutynin to work??

I am surprised because I am EXTREMELY SENSITIVE to any medication I take!

Also, is Avert/Robinul covered in Canada? My doctor said she has never heard of it because it might not be covered but she wasn't 100% positive. I am from Ontario

I tried Oxybutynin for a few weeks, and it had no effects on me.

Now using glycopyrrolate (Robinul/Avert), which seems to be working well for most people.

you should take these pills at empty stomach. i have head and face sweatting. i take them as soon as i awake up in the empty stomach. in less than one hour you feel its effective. you mouth will started to dry. eyes become blury, you will feel few seconds delay when start urinating. but, this tables works well for those who have facial and head sweat. i red this statement online some days back from a doctor.
