How to deal with Severe CS?

Hi!
Two years ago i had ETS surgery for my focal HH and facial blushing. After surgery i started suffer from extremely Compensatory Hyperhidrosis all over the body. My armpits, chest and stomach, back, butt, thighs, and feet are constantly wet. I post a new thread because i visited a lot forums and most people have problems with CS during exercices or in the summer. I have problem with this CONSTANTLY, in every situation in every temperature my clothes are drenched, i sweat 24/7. I have visible sweat stains on my shirt, on my pants even in quite cool temperature (even when it's very cold-below zero!), of course summer is worse, in summer i am totally out of place. I knew about CS after surgery but i thought so severe compensatory is common in men or people who are overweight. i read that about 1% ETS patients suffer from really bad CS after surgery. Unfortunelly i'am in this 1%. Does any one else on this forum experience really bad CS after ETS? Maybe you know how to deal with it? I tried antiperspirants but their are not effective for me. I will be grateful for help because i'm really depressed.
I'm sorry if I put the message in the wrong place i am new on this forum and sorry for my english language i don't use it in my daily life so it's not so good:)

Hi Estry,

I'm so sad for you the sweating did not go away after ETS.
I did not do ETS but I sweat a lot on my hands, feet and underarms.

A few years ago I tried accupunture, Altough my sweating never completely went away, I experienced my first few dry days. But once I start sweating I will. still sweat a lot. I don't go to the accupunture anymore but I still experience a dry day sometimes:)

Maybe trying accupunture will help a little bit for you too?

Lot's of people have compensatory sweating after ETS. Use the search button on top to find the posts. Main thing people use is an oral medication called Glycopyrrolate. Known by the names Avert, Robinul. Using this medication is an extremely popular topic of discussion on this forum.
