I never write reviews, but felt the need to share my story about this product. I am almost 30, and have had HH for as long as I can remember. It has affected my life the same way it has affected all of you.. (the dreaded handshake, papers getting wet while writing, avoiding social functions, etc). After lurking around here for years on and off, I... by JennyIsBack

I have been dealing with my sweating problem all my life. I finally got 100 units botox on my hands in July. Although my condition has improved since the second week of injection, I still have clammy hands pretty much all the time. I went back to the doctor office for a follow up, but my doctor said I'll have to wait for a few months because my... by wcw22

Hey all! What has been the most effective solution you've tried to eliminate foot sweat? I'm a 26 y/o female and have been suffering from HH in my hands and feet all my life. I've usually dealt with the foot situation by always wearing socks and never open shoes - aside from birkinstocks which I've started wearing in the past year, but I... by unagi172

I have been suffering from facial hyperhidrosis from the time since I remember. Most of the times I am frustrated because of this condition... this makes me look nervous and not confident and specially at work, when I am working with my peers, I end up looking scared. I just want to get rid of this... Its really bad to have sweat on your face... by JamesScott

Are there any HH meds (topical or oral) that are ok for endurance exercise/running? Heavy scalp sweater here. It literally dehydrates me and will soak my shoes if I don't wear a headband. Help. Eric by erhhcf

I want to join the Air Force but i'm panicking because of facial hyperhidrosis. The recruiter explained that HH is not a disqualifier but the training is in texas and you can't take any medication with you. Anyone been through basic training with HH (specifically facial)? How was your experience? by mmichel07

I have been very depressed and anxious lately and am thinking of going on antidepressants. My main concern is that I will be sweating worse than I already do. Sweating is the main side effect people seem to complain about with ssris/snris. I am thinking about asking my doctor about going on pristiq because it seems to be the drug with the least... by jay77

Hey everyone! Ive had HH for hands and feet my whole life (33 now). Id say I have an extreme case, (red puffy hands that drip sweat profusely). Ive tried everything, drysol, robinol, ionto (pulsed and direct), and botox. The ionto worked well for me for about 7 years, but my hands have been sweating a ton for the past month and it is really... by doublesweat

Hi, My dermatologist prescribed me 2.5mg oxybutynin to be taken twice a day. So far it has done nothing :( I've been taking it for around a week and I have no side effects or decreased sweating, it's like I'm not taking the pill at all. How much can I take a day? I know some take 5mg twice a day, but that doesn't sound too promising by TLB

I have been using the Fischer MD-1a since 2005. It works like a charm until recently. Why? Well I'm in Utah and I decided to go to Nevada for about 2 months. My maintenance treatment is every 8-10 days, 15 minutes each polarity for one hand, one foot. So treatment takes roughly 1 hour to do both hands and feet. As long as I stay on schedule, I... by Sprawling

Recently I met this new woman in my life who I thought would be a possible love interest. Amongst some other possible red flags the biggest red flag was in regards to my overall body sweating during the warm summer months and the hand sweating that happens on and off when becoming involved with a new person. I'm very up front about my body... by Sprawling

Here's something listed below I found interesting for us feet sweaters. Currently I'm back to using about a 75% rainwater ionto treatment. It's working quite well for me other than my hands are dried out to the point I get cuts much easier. Sweaty hands has always made the skin on my hands dry out even though it was moist most of the time... by Sprawling

Hi, I'm new to this group. I have been tortured by HH since I was 10 years old, now 34. My hands and feet are the worst affected (dripping like a tap every waking moment) but I sweat everywhere! I descovered Oxybutynin when I was 20 and it saved my life. It decreases the sweating by about 70% but only in cool temperatures. I now live in Spain... by Cindy1983

i had ETS on Weds. Insurance covered most of the cost. Out of pocket to me was a little more than $2,000. First two days were painful. Difficulty breathing, etc but pain meds helped cope. Just this evening, noticed both hands getting sweaty again, albeit slightly.. I have read that this happens in some cases and is temporary. I will post... by TxGuy

Hi All I did start a long thread last week detailing my full experience with having Laser Sweat Ablation done at The Whiteley Clinic but it has been removed following the Whiteley Clinic contacting the forum and asking them to remove my thread or they would consider initiating legal action. I was wondering if many UK sufferers have managed to acquire Avert. I was told by the pharmacist at I would require a doctors note ( due to medicines I currently take, which would clash ) which will be unlikely as the Dermatologist previously said it was a no-no. Are there any other ways to get Avert? I feel it is the only other... by JustG
