not sure what the problem is. i graduated with a degree, have had 2 internships, and have had a retail job for the past 4 years. i'm trying to apply to jobs but apparently it's still not enough experience. i don't see how i'll ever move out. the only jobs are for $12 an hour after all of that which isn't survivable in this area... it's been a month since i graduated. is this normal??

It took me 8 months to find a job after I graduated, and more than 2 years to get a job in my field of study. Classic modern day situation. 1 month is seriously nothing.

It's gonna be hard for me, I'm enrolled for Computer Science but I don't really like it, gonna change it to audio engineering. If AE consists of recording music/audio I'd be in my dream profession, don't care if it pays all that well or not

Oh no :( It keeps asking me about internships for ten weeks for only 20 hours. UGH :( Did you apply to places everyday? Idk why it takes so long these days :(

I think both majors would help you get a job easily. I majored in English so it will probably be harder X.x

I put a lot of energy into it at first, but in my field of study there isn't an infinity of job opportunities so at some point there is just nothing more you can do. I had a couple of websites that I would check every 2-3 days or so, and I would spend a couple of hours a week trying to find other places to send resumes, but for the rest of my time I just tried to make good use of all that spare time. At some point I left to mexico because I was bored, sent a couple of resumes while I was there, and I had to come back 2 months later because I got an e-mail for an interview, which I got the job for. SO overall I probably spent about 15-20 hours/week looking for jobs.

Is there a way for you to do this interships?
