But i overcame it a while ago. Although it never completely went away.

I did things like, made sure all the light switches were up and the light was off, not ever down with the lights off.

Mmmm put my deoderant on in a specific routine, or touch random things when I enter rooms.

Thats a form of OCD right?

I thought things like... If i dont do something then my family will die. or something like that. Its really bizzare and... well yeah.

Is this OCD? do other people think weird things like this and end up doing them in fear of being blamed for the death or a family member?

Or think that god is the moral voice in my head and if i dont do the routine he will be mad.

tell me if i just sound like a crazy person, please.

Althought this was a while ago, i still suffer some.

Please post =]

I do the same things, except sometimes i have really weird "urges" like stick my finger in my cars cigarette lighter, or touch the stove while its hot, or eat butter, and other stupid stuff like that. I noticed that my OCD was much worst when i took adderall, i think the stimulant made me OCD. The last time i took adderall i was constantly picking at my skin (and no, they weren't meth bugs, lol) and i was chewing on my tounge and my lips, untill the point that they were bleeding. I guess it would make since that adderall could cause OCD because amphetamines cause the body to release adrenaline (which causes one to feel anxious, nervous, or paranoid) and go into "flight or fight" mode.

hah, wow. I've been seeing a lot of you lately.

were both F**ked up. haha

So is this OCD behavior? Am i not just going crazy?
I've never been to a psychologist or anything for it, its always been a secret.

Also I get really bad urdges too, dose this disorder explain them?

Like... im driving and i feel like letting go of the wheel, or changing lanes for no reason. Or even really messed up things like driving into oncoming traffic. Which i'll NEVER do, but I cant get my inner mind to shut up. or stop thinking about things.

Dose the fact that I cant control my mind and have these urges mean that i have OCD?
Because I'd love to know im not just a crazy person.

OCD is really only OCD when it takes up at least an hour of your day everyday.

I realize my condition is very moderate to many people on these forums, even when my condition was in full swing.

But what im trying to figure out is... if this description sounds like typical OCD behavior?

Am I just a weirdo... or do i have a mild form of OCD?

Today... I was walking and something clicked in my mind that forced me to think a sniper was watching me, and that If i didnt kneel down and tie my shoe at that exact time then I was going to die.

please reply someone...

if OCD forces you to avoid social situations, causes anxiety for over an hour a day, then you have it...

if you think you have crazy thoughts, or your going crazy, or that your a freak, then your definitely not alone... if you feel you have to do something to avoid random situations, but you know that its just part of your imagination, your not alone

if you think you have thought the most disturbing thought a human could ever think in this world, and your a terrible person because of it... join the club man
