That was so nice of her. NOT anyone have said that to me before. NOT ANYONE!
I'm glad I went to her. I've been there 3 times, and it seems like she understands me and want to help me. She gave me her number and told me to call her if/when I get depresive and thinking about ending my life (which I often do). She have also told me that she wont abandon me, and we both will agree to quit. It's hard for me to trust anyone, since my social worker just abandoned me :thumbdown:

That's great you've found a good psychologist.
I think a lot of people may just accept the first psych they are referred to, but not all are as good. They are only human after all. Like mechanics, doctors, etc, some are just better at their job than others.

My current psych is fantastic, also giving me his number, letting me know its ok to call him if I ever feel the need. It really does make a huge difference.
These people are worth their weight in gold.

It's great to hear words like that from someone. It is often the truth that we can't see until someone helps us.

She sounds great! I've been very lucky too. In reference to the other comments, it's also important to remember that they're only human;people too.
