I'm looking for a new hobby/activity

Hey,

I'm looking for a nice hobby, or a good activity to have a little distraction off my anxiety. Do you guys know a good hobby? or a fun thing to do?
Or a good activity?
I love many things, so every suggestion is ok ^_^

I do cross-stitch and am just about to take up origami. :)

It just depends on what you are good at, are you better visually (like painting as apollo says) or with your hands?

Well here are some suggestions/things that I like to do:

drawing/painting, creating digital art, makramee, tatting, origami, photography, playing music.

You can visit an art shop and spend some time there. They usually have a ton of things for very interesting things you can do yourself as well as instruction books...

Love,
Alexandros

Gardening! I started doing that when the weather got better. Makes you feel like you've achieved something and its healthy to get outside.

My plan for the summer is to get back into drawing

you could maybe take up photography, make or create something, scrap booking, some I'd say have been said!

What about trying a graphics tablet and mixing these two together? They don't take too long to get used to, you get lots of freedom for creating things and you can make as many errors as you like while practicing. :)

Hmmm... maybe some still-life painting of fruits in a basket? I can't be 100% certain, but if memory serves, 'Saskia' was the wife of the great painter Rembrandt. A bit off topic I know, but just something that came to my mind immediately.

I go cycling. It seems to help my anxiety. I'm going too fast for anyone to try to talk to me and the speed seems to help alleviate the anxious thoughts I have. It gets me out of the house and exercise is always a good thing.
