Iontophoresis & Pregnancy

Hi, new user here...
I've been suffering from palmar, plantar and auxillary hyperhidrosis since I can remember and have only just in the last couple of months been able to get it under control by using iontophoresis (Idromed 5 - HIGHLY reccomend) :D
I have also just found out that I am pregnant. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about using the Idromed 5 whilst pregnant?
I would like to keep the treatment up but only if it is safe to do so. I have grown quite a likening to having dry hands, I feel so spoilt!
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

first-congrats on the baby. Does it say anything in the manual about not using the machine when pregnant? If you're worried then maybe try contacting the people who make the machine.

I can't really see what the danger is but it probably depends on how many times you use it a week and how high you have the voltage. If its once a week and on a low voltage (8-11mA) then it should be fine. Maybe see your doctor.

just to clarify, its not voltage but current, 8-11 mA is current.

I would definitely see a doctor before doing anything. There is a lot of sensitive biological processes that could be interrupted with a current flow (aka a source of electrons).

I have been in college way too long... haha
