I bought a bunch of frozen egg burritos in a grocery store that weren't good. When i went back to the grocery store to return them i didn't have my receipt so they declined. As i walked out of the store i intentionally and angrily threw the burritos on the floor hard and a few got in the store, i left them where they were and went on. When i returned few hours later the staff told me to leave. Can i return to this store again or am i permanently banned?

You'd better not go there for a while. If you go there when they can still remember, they may call the police to issue you a warning. As far as I know, if that happens, you cannot go there within 12 months without being potentially arrested. However, if you don't go there for several weeks, they may forget what happened, and then you should have no problem going there again.

Lol this reminds me of an SNL skit with Andy Samberg. Yeah you might wanna avoid that store for a little while.

Leave it a while, go back when the dust has settled, and then shop on your best behaviour, perhaps they will forget.

Or you can go there and apologize. To be fair, most kinds of stores can't do much for you without a receipt, even if you bought your things five minutes earlier. The exceptions could be friendly neighborhood stores where everyone knows everyone and a receipt wouldn't be absolutely mandatory because they trusted you and were, well, friendly.

I used to work at a rite aid for 8 years... return policies in big corporation business can be a real sketchy ordeal.

if it was a big corporation company you got the burritos from, and you didn't have a receipt, you could have asked what your options are from the manager on duty. if it's a low level graveyard shift key-holding manager he'll probably try to avoid the situation and keep saying no, hoping you'll give up and leave him alone. if you ask to speak to the GENERAL manager, then he'll have to refer you to him (if the GM isn't there then he'll give you a time/date you can go in to see him, or a ph#).

if you manage to get a hold of the GM, he might take the burritos back and let you exchange them for fresh ones, or give you store credit to buy something else in the store. if the GM refuses you still, then you have to call the corporate offices and explain your situation to them--The GM will give you the corporate #, or you can google it.

w/e happens, you have to keep the old products you bought as your bargaining chips. if you throw them away (or on the ground) then they won't give you a chance at refund/compensation. also, acting crazy and spiking burritos on the ground in plain view might disqualify you from getting a return/credit on accounts you're potentially disrupting the flow of business. If customers walking in and out of the store see the crazy burrito spiking scene, they might get scared and decide not to shop there anymore, causing the company to lose business. and the company can use this against you to refuse you a return/compensation.

to everyone reading this... ALWAYS keep your receipts for a good period of time on anything you buy over 2$... if you're shopping at a dingy liquor mart, don't buy anything with layers of dust on it, check expiration dates and look for rat terds on top of things before you buy anything.
