Laser Sweat Ablation - Whiteley Clinic - My Experience

No operation can ever be 100% successful.
It is a shame that people on this site attack the very people that are spending their spare time to try to cure the very conditions that you are suffering from.
Our research gets no money from government or research bodies - we fund it all ourselves to try to help patients suffering from these conditions.
Messages like those above make me wonder why we bother to try to help at all.

You are so arrogant it is unbelievable, you try to help for money status and a big house I presume. You charge people 3grand a pop so you aren't doing it for free are you.

Your comments never cease to amaze me and clearly a lot of other people reading them.

Are you expecting people to feel sorry for you that you get no money from government or research bodies, you are a private clinic making a lot of money for yourself, why should they.
You don't benefit the NHS.

I'm pretty sure the circa £4K you charge desperate HH sufferers for the 45 min procedure which isn't guaranteed to work covers your 'research'.
If you were in this primarily to try to help HH sufferers you would not charge such a huge fee, more than any other surgery/procedure/doctor I have ever known in my 10 years involved with the HH community, and I have done a lot of research.

I think the attack you are feeling is misguided. A patient is merely telling his experience of not having success with this procedure. It happens.

Just to bump this thread and my experience with the Whiteley Clinic for anybody who might be considering getting this done this Summer.

A year on and my armpits have still not improved at all, my underarm hair has not grown back properly, scars still very visible and red sore armpits all the time.
