Lonely...want a girlfriend

I was watching Beavis and Butthead today and I thought this is exactly what I'm freakin talking about. These guys are exactly alike so they get along great together. They're in the same place mentally and emotionally. They're around one another all the time because of it. Imagine how we repel people because we're in a seperate universe than them. We're thinking about how stupid we look and how our voice sounds weird and all kinds of crap while the other person is in a totally different place.

Why can't people just be like, "He's shy but he'll come out of it. I think i'll give him a chance" Nah, nobody cares when you're a guy.

Why shouldn't you stop ya bitchin that you've been doing for years and take some responsibility? You're chance is truelly everywhere but you're too stuck in your bubble to see it. Your chance is weak? You're weak. (not trying to sound like an asshole but...)

Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYt6ZQ70FTw

I was thinking of that old saying "you'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar" this girl Ashley messaged me during the superbowl and we sent a few messages back and forth. I was thinking that if I tried to take the subject off the super bowl then she wouldn't want to talk anymore because that wouldn't be what she wanted to talk about.

I was watching this pbs special about The Power of Intention with Wayne Dyer and some things he said really struck me "put out what you want to receive" "be receptive" "be in rapport" "play the match game" "act as tho its already there". He wasn't talking about conversation but I think these things hold true. If you want the person to treat you with respect and be nice to you then you have to do the same to them. You have to be receptive to what the person wants in the conversation. You have to develope rapport with them. You have to match yourself with them mentally and get in their head. The "act as tho its already there" was a pretty strange thing for me. I was thinking of how if I acted as tho I already had a girlfriend then I would come off as more relaxed talking to girls even if I'm not attracted to them. The most attractive guys that get girls are never worried and anxious and nervous about it and are always calm and confident.

LOL, yea i've had that problem back when i actually talked to females(I think the last was around 2003). I think I'm experiencing dementia from being lonely for so long.

Txt! Txt!
"God I hope the the Bears convert here!"

Txt!Txt!
"I'M DYING A FREAKIN VIRGIN AND YOU HAVE THE POWER TO FIX THIS, WHAT THE HELL DO I CARE ABOUT A BUNCH OF ROIDED OUT GUYS THROWING A FUNNY SHAPED BALL AROUND??"

But in reality, most guys my age have found a way to overcome whatever they had and move on. I don't know for sure, but I'm assuming you guys are still in you teens?

I love this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbaYhG__AgY "the journey never ends its just begun" Rob Halford is the greatest metal singer ever...sorry off topic once again...

It was all star practice again today. They paired the boys with the girls in to teams. I got Amy on my team. She's tried to start a conversation with me before...I got nervous and blew it  I said some smart ass things to her about copying my bad bowling and some other smart ass things. Hollyann was sitting there and she's pretty quiet when she doesn't know anyone. Usually when I see her she's always talking and stuff. It was the perfect time to say something to her and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. She's even asked me why I can talk to her on myspace but not in person. I'm not beating myself up I'm just noticing I could have done more. Always next week. Oh and I'm finally starting to loosen up in general with everyone. Not really saying much more but just feeling more comfortable.

Alright I'm kinda fried from reading books like a mad man for days and I thought it would be a good exercise to think of things I could have said to Hollyann

1 Thats a cool necklace.
2 So you finally came. (this was the first time she's actually come to practice because of her job I think)
3 What do you think of my hair.
Alrighttttttt I got nothin.

I was just thinking of how strange it is when people tell you to be yourself.

I like this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORc5Td_T6og

I was thinking of how there are short and very far between times when I have pretty much lost my fear for a short while. I remember this happened with my last girlfriend. We were in class and I was talking to some friends and out of nowhere I felt really relaxed and just said to her "can I get a hug?" and then I hugged her for like an hour  It just came out of nowhere and from then on we hugged a lot...I love hugs

Has anyone seen the movie Office Space (great movie) where after the guy goes to the hypnotist and he freaken just changes everything...thats what I'm talkin about. He hangs up with his girlfriend and even when she calls back and she says she's been cheating on him he just goes back to bed. Nothing phases him. Then he finds that cute girl and is just like "hey I'm gonna go have some lunch across the steet. If you want to eat with me thats great but if you don't thats great too" how great an attitude is that?

Today me and my mom rode our bikes on the bike trail. Its been warming up lately and it was almost spring weather. Seeing the sun come out just reminded me that the sun will always come out eventaully...and it always shines even if it is temporarily behind some clouds. I've been noticing more positive things lately. Little things like that pop in my head every once in a while when I'm feeling down. Anyway back to the bike riding...I'm always far ahead of my mom because she always goes slow and I like to go fast and get some good exercise.

There is always some people going the other direction either walking or riding their bikes. Usually I just kind of keep looking forward and try to pretend they aren't there...makes me feel really stupid...I usually make a funny stupid face after I pass them because I feel so stupid  Sometimes they say hi and I say hey back...I feel a little better since they said something first and I had to say something back. Today there were 2 ladies walking their dogs together and as they saw me coming they took their dogs to the side and waited for me to pass them...soo awkward...If I didn't say something I knew I would be feeling like crap afterwards...so I just said hey as I passed them...They said hi back...I felt pretty good afterwards just because it was sooo awkward

Then on the way back there was a kid walking by himself on the trail and he was right next to a turn that goes down a hill. He noticed me and looked back as I was passing him and I just said hey...another awkward time...and he didn't say anything back...didn't really care. Yes thats right I didn't care one bit. Thats kinda surprising.

I was thinking of what a great exercise it would be to look people in the eye as I passed them on the trail and just said hey to them...How simple! What an easy thing to do! The absolute worst thing that could happen is they don't say anything back...who cares! I'll be passed them in a second anyway and I probably will never see them again! Talk about a confidence booster! No chance of a conversation either! Its perfect!

I was also thinking on the car ride to pick up pizza how many cute girls there are. I saw something like 10 cute girls either walking or driving a car...I wasn't even trying to find them...cute girls are everywhere. Out of what 3 BILLION girls in the world there has to be atleast one for me. Who cares if some stupid girl doesn't love you...only 3 billions left

Also I don't buy in to this thing where people believe that just finding love will suddenly make their lives happy. Nobody will make your life happy but you. A relationship only contributes to your happiness it doesn't make it out of nothing.

Hollyann just asked me if I had any plans for valentines day...We haven't even talked on myspace for weeks and I haven't said a word to her in literally years

So I rode the bike trail today with my mom. It was an absolutely beautiful day. It was sunny and warm and windy...rained a little a few times but it was just great. Felt just like spring.

I said Hi to a few people as I passed them...the first were 2 kids that were eating some candy or something...they didn't say hi back but I did hear one of them say "here comes a boxer" I was wearing sweats but I didn't know I looked like a boxer... The next were two ladies walking a dog and they did say hi back. I know there were some more that didn't say anything back but my memory is a little blurry. On the way back I did say hi to an old man walking and he did say hi back kinda sadly...made me think that I was in a better mood than he was.

On the way back something pretty funny. I saw some kids riding their bikes as fast as they could. They were around 8 years old and their bikes didn't have gears so they were pumping their legs as fast as they could and I kept hearing a mans voice but couldn't see any man just the kids. Then as I was going past them I noticed one of the kids was the father! He was short and was riding a little kids bike! He was the same size as the kids! He was having the time of his life with his kids...then I saw the wife trailing behind them on a mountain bike.

I think it comes down to chance. All I could do is increase my chances. If I wasn't sitting at home right now eating garlic bread and watching a show about Steven Hawking and out with people where there are girls present I think it would be fair to say my chances would increase. Also talking would increase the chance of conversation don't ya think? Now what are the chances of finding a girl that likes Judas Priest and knows the difference between a sprit sail and a gaff sail? Thats righ no chance...dammit! As long as she doesn't listen to rap all day!
i just have to say, that i find geeks really sexy, and i listen to old music, so don't listen to all the other people, i would like it  And i'm sure there are loads of other girls who would too :D

I haven't read this thread yet, but I just had to say, this one had me in stitches!

Show me a girl who likes GWAR and I'll show you a transexual caveman (no offense, in the off-chance any girl in the world isn't completely repulsed by them).

I just got back from the movies with Hollyann in fact...Premonition made no sense to me...I was overthinking it tho. We're going to hang out tomorrow. Her friend told her she had to marry me.

I haven't been here much lately because I've just been feeling better and better and didn't want to feel like I was rubbing it in for the people that aren't feeling so good. Me and Hollyann are just friends right now but we could easily be more. We're both obsessed with one another.
