Loners seen as phsyco's

Why do people seem to think that loners are all pshyco's? On the news they talk about ''the loner'' who shot up the school o'r whatever.

I'm a loner but I would not hurt a fly.

I saw a video clip yesturday at the library about this subject before checking out books. The video shows John Douglas, who used to be the Chief of Investigative Support Unit talk about people who usually hang out by themselves, do not have a social life, etc... Watch the video clip

Hmmm, so because I am a loner means I'm going to kill someone and get attention :roll:

yeah, pretty much.. since most of the people that do that are very disturbed and end up being rejected i suppose, not being crazy enough for serious attention. Like you!! 8O People probably don't see the difference, maybe think we're secretly plotting to kill everyone at work or school
