Longest period being unable to work because of S.A

I've bounced from job to job, none of them lasting longer than 2 weeks. The last job I tried was at a grocery store during the night shift. It might have been bearable if I didn't have class a few hours after I got off and considering the fact that I was so exhausted when I got home I could hardly even sleep. Then come to find out that my supervisor sometimes like to have us work 12 hour shifts stocking shelves which meant I'd be there from 10 at night to 10 the next morning. That job lasted one night.

That was all several months ago and I haven't worked since though I'm working on heading back into the workforce. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear about all you guys. The longest I have been out of a job is about 5 years... but I suppose that doesn't count as thats between my first burger flipping job as a teenager which I quit due to SP and my work-experience placement. In between I was studying at school & uni.

Although I have been employed for a few years, I am thinking of changing jobs (I won't goto here as I kinda explain in another post). I hope I don't end up from the frying pan to the fryer

Just wondering if any of you guys get help from Social Security? Are they receptive to your problems? Do they recognise SP/SAD?
