Does anyone know if primary care doctors will prescribe antidepressants? My health insurance doesn't cover psychiatry but I want to be back on antidepressants but not sure if any other doctor other than a psychiatrist will prescribe them.

I'm just curious and does SA or depression ever affect your job? I'm a veterinary nurse. I do suffer from chronic depression and it sometimes does get in the way of me being motivated to go to work but being around animals all day really helps. :)
