Iam thinking of moving out of home but iam not sure if i would be doing it for the right reasons and iam not sure if i would regret it. Iam 24 and well i kinda need to start making a move in life, i think to myself what if i move out to my own place and after getting a mortgage and all and then i dont like it, and what if i move out and life just gets even more lonely?

What iam asking here for those who have moved out did you regret it or was it worth it and what would you do diffrent, and did it make any real change to your life?

Thanks
Mark

Hey im 20 and i moved out ot uni when i was 18.

Had I not done this, i think i would be unemployed, unsuccessfull and unhappy!

It was the best thing I ever did, and it does help alot to get away from home, but the first few months are not easy at all. And I wouldnt recommend gettin a mortagage on ur first place away from home, jsut rent for a few months and see how u like it!

hope that helps

thanks scatmantom, to be honest i think i would rather get a mortgage, for one its the same price as renting where i live and i wouldnt want to rent with having at the back of my mind that i would be moving again in about 6 months/ a year, i do see what you mean though, what i was thinking is that if i did but a flat and didnt like it then i could sub let it or somthing like that :?: i just feel i need to make a move sometime soon.

From my point of view, I think it would be better if I moved out. I feel as if my parents really weigh me down, and help maintain my SP with their constant negative comments and correcting me as if I'm a child.

Sooner or later, you have to try things out for yourself, otherwise you'll never know what it's like moving out. I would definitely go for it Scottish_Player.

u dont move out , you got everything man , food , bed, utilities and parking space.
you know when u have to move out ? when ur parents kick u out
imo
just because ur living with ur parents doesnt make u a loser.

peace

Hey

im 21 I moved out last september when I went to uni and got a house with a mate. To be honest im glad I did it it sort of gave me that push I needed. Its made me a lot more independant and you have that freedom you dont get at home. My parents were always on my back about everything and as a result we didnt get on very well but now ive got my own place i get on with them a million times better. Why dont u talk to your parents try living on your own for maybe a year you can always go back if things dont work out. Also try moving in with a friend you know well at least that way it isnt as scary :D

Hey everyone.
Unfortunately, i've had a bad experience being out of home. I have been out for 3 years now, and are still not copeing with it.
It's not so much as i don't like my space, it's just that being around normal people(parents etc), took pressure of me with my social phobia..but now i feel out of my depth on trying to get to know people around me.
Anyone else felt this way?
Good luck with your decison Scottish Player. Hope i didn't put you off.
Most people cope after a short while.
