I had to look this up, I honestly had no idea what Odaban was. I have an odd question minimally pertaining to hyperhidrosis, I dont have an issue with excessive sweating, I do have one with excessive drooling (on occasion) what would that fall under?
Hey,
The oral medications for both excessive sweating and drooling are usually similar, if not the same.
If you see the doctor, and you are especially concerned, they may prescribe you glycoporrylate (as for sweating). However, it is more likely that they would try various types of anticholinergic medications; these work by blocking a receptor called a muscarinic receptor. Acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter) acts upon these receptors, hence the antiCHOLINErgic part.
It's worth a try. If it seriously bothers you, try talking to the doctor, I'm sure there are many different medications for it, they are just the types I remember reading about in my first year studies
Good you
