This is actually a "Blue Moon" we are having, I think... Well someone told me that it was.

...and Blue Moon is my favorite beer!

These are so good

but they're giving me heartburn.

The front says the spiciness level is "extreme," and when I first tried one someone offered me I would have agreed. But as I'm eating them now they're very tolerably spicy. Strange.

Down to one egg and no money for more. But not all is lost I can still make cookies. I found a Snickerdoodle recipe that only calls for one- yeah! Love the Internet right now. I remember when all we had for reference were the books we had at home. Amazing all of the recipes out there on the web.
Nothing like homemade cookies for feeling better. Just wish I had some milk, too :(

Yeah , once I really needed chocolate cake but only had a few ingredients and I found a really simple recipe online for one where one of the main ingredients was vinegar and it was actually pretty decent.

Depression Cake. Yep I have made that one a few times it is good!

That's the recipe I have used for it before.
I like the name too haha
Perfect though for when you're broke and need a cake boost:)

Is it ok to feel free of the guilt of long-ago past if you know you're not like that anymore?
^That is a tough one.
I believe it would depend on what in particular you are feeling guilty for. Which could then be quite subjective. I have often wondered that too.

Re: Ugh

Well, I think the number of thanks mentioned under your number of posts is the total of thanks that you got since the system has been established....?

Ah yes, I thought so too :) I just thought you were referring to something I didn't understand :)

They just don't stop, these people. First they dump all responsibilities on me, and now they're trying to change the dinner schedule because they don't feel like eating a certain thing right now.

Well, they're going to eat what I make, when I make it- because expiration dates on the vegetables don't allow for the schedule to change.

Bought a small bottle of wine few days ago to cook with and got asked for an ID and had go back home to get it. Bought a big bottle of wine today, did not get asked to show ID.

You can't really Google what kind of bird is singing outside your window, can you. It's kind of hard to translate birdsong to English.

Now I'll never know

Managed to buy and find online 9 of the 15 books I need for next year. Of those missing, 3 are in Portuguese so they're harder to find online. I think I'll wait for the start of the school year to get the ones missing, since I suspect I only need a few chapters from most of them.

There's also another thing that I thought was a book but I found this paper twice online that is just 4 pages long, same title and authors. I guess this one might not be a book after all.
Edit: there's a book with a slightly similar name with 600 pages. The course page says the book is called "Data Mining: Practical Machine Learning Tools and Techniques with Java Implementations". The paper I found is called "Weka: Practical Machine Learning Tools and Techniques with Java Implementations". The book I found is called "Data Mining: Practical Machine Learning Tools and Techniques".

You want to know how I got these scars?

My mum used to always have a veggie garden and us kids would always have our own little patch of dirt where we would also grow stuff next to hers.
It was amazing to watch stuff sprout and grow into things you can eat.

I still have a veggie patch these days, although I don't grow during summer anymore due to the amount of water needed to just keep things alive.
Water is so damn expensive now.. almost as bad as electricity.

So I grow winter/spring crops.

You can't compare the taste of things from a shop to your own home grown..

Everytime I try to grow something, it dies lol. I am not so great with plants, but I want to be. Although I haven't really grown anything myself, I can agree that local organic is the best.
