You want to know how I got these scars?
You'll never know the psychopath sitting next to you
You'll never know the murderer sitting next to you
You'll think, "How'd I get here, sitting next to you?"
But after all I've said
Please don't forget....

Van Halen, definitely; especially the David Lee Roth years.

Those are three of my favorite bands.

My favorite bands seem to all be very guitar-heavy/-driven for some reason. So to these i can add: the cure, metallica, jimi hendrix, cream, led zeppelin, dire straits, guns'n'roses, ...

Metallica are my all time favorite. Their music has gotten me through some very tough times. I think they'll be touring here this year, I'tll be the 3rd time I've seen them. Hopefully they come :)

I've got the Guns 'n Roses concert first on Feb 17! :numberone:

Sadly i'm not a concert person (to scared to go to another .. scared that i may get into "people trouble", get into "f*cked-up mood" there, etc).

I just added GNR to my last post .. i was about to add it when wrote post, but forgot

Music ain't what it used to be. The only modern-era band that i can think of that "cuts it" with all those 70s/80s bands, is Coldplay (and Smashing Pumpkins, tho technically speaking it began in late 80s)

Yea I see what you mean, and agree for the most part. These days it seems there are more one hit wonders than actual bands that make a big name for themselves. I like a small percentage of modern music, such as 'Heathens' 21 pilots etc.
But god there's a lot of crap on the radio these days...
