I just told my friend that i've got SA.
Of course, like i predicted, she didn't even say anything.
However i don't know why i told her.
Because now i am sure that she will let someone know somehow, and then the whole school will know.

SA is like an arm that got broken accidentally, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Being part of this website shows that you want to improve, be proud of that.

That was an incredibly brave thing that you did. Please, give yourself credit for that.
I agree with the other posters. You have nothing to be ashamed of, regardless of what may or may not happen from this point, you did the right thing. When I was diagnosed four years ago, I told everyone. This was because I had had depression and agoraphobia for about twenty years, but something else was always different. Everyone assumed I was lazy or attention seeking, so it was a relief to ba able to let them know I was neither. I also knew what I had to deal with. I wish I had had your courage when I was young. Well done.
Maybe your friend didn't comment because she didn't know what to say.
